just got home from the rage awards at the mercy lounge and enjoyed your unmistakable, beautiful voice. today was a long, difficult day due to taking my mother to her lawyer to write up her will; she has cancer and has 8 months or less on this earth. i needed something to help free my mind of the thought of losing her and listening to music was good for me as music is a safe way of escape. i was surprised that you were there live and even more surprised that i got the chance to talk with you a bit when you approached the bar after you . i have been a huge fan for several years and i appreciate you being so nice and down to earth. keep it up david, and thanks again!!

Just tracing my family-tree and wondered if we might be related! My grandfather was David, married to Lydia Cassandra (known as Cassy). Got any family from OK or the South?? Cheers

Dude, you look nothing like me….LOL

Dave,

I still laugh when I read the quotes on your site. Things are good, got back from deployment, leave again in April. Went back to Purdue to visit and see what is new, couldn’t recognize a lot of things!! Getting married in April, that is about it. If you are ever in San Diego, you have a couch to sleep on!!

So, here I sit, listening to my playlist on winamp, and what should come up…but Daydream Believer! It made me miss my favorite older twin! When ever will I get to see you again? Remember, you promised me karaoke at the Dam!

Hey Jon! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to sign the guestbook! I’ve been slacking somewhat in keeping up with all my favorite blogs out there lately, but I’m going to catch up sometime soon - your site is on my list Wink

I’ve added you to my links page.

- Dave

David,

I was online and I discovered your website. I’ve been trying to figure out who else from my Purdue/Glee Club past might have a presence on the web… Plus, I recently found out that there’s this guy at my work named “Dave Mead”, so I’ve been wondering what the real David Meade has been up to. And now I know…

Drop me a note sometime.

So, I signed on here to check for an update, WHICH THERE WAS NONE! But, I realized that I was one of 5 users online. Damn, you are popular! Must be that older twin charm!

I just said “No Thank You” to a $50,000 Tv contract so that I could make a feature film, for which I have not found the financing yet. It’s called “Playing Annie”. Am I crazy? Maybe not, we’ll see. What does it have to do with David? I want to tell my filmmaking tale through videoblogs, and of course, I discovered David’s great blog site.

David, you’re a pro with videoblogs, I just want to ask you this: where should I have my videoblogs hosted? I’m ready to pay a little bit for the best service. What mistakes should I avoid?

Now, I’m going to take the time to look at your films.

Thanks a million.

Alex Pierre, out of Montreal.

I just checked, you are still #1 on Google! So is Doug, but since you are an OLDER twin, it’s cooler for you!

uhm, Cassie………I must correct you…….OLDER TWINS RULE! Dave is an OLDER TWIN! Like ME!

Yes, I recently managed to reclaim my #1 spot in google. For a while there I was on page … 12 … or so. Rolling Eyes

Who know where I’ll be next week, but for now … It’s good to be King. Very Happy

you are number one on Google, how freaking cool is that? Oh my gosh! I know a celebrity!!!!!!!!!

the little cinco de mayo davidmeade.com logo is just too damn cute!

Hi MaryAnne and welcome to DavidMeade.com!

Laughing LOL I had no idea I was listed on google under “Dry Heaves” … oddly they seem to refuse to list me under “David Meade”. Rolling Eyes

It is no doubt Audra’s fault for getting me listed under “Dry Heaves” thanks to her quote “Dry heaves SUCK!” which is often (albeit randomly) displayed on the page header here. (I don’t even want to think about what Gina’s gotten me listed under!)

Not the search terms I had expected would bring people here, but whatever did it I’m glad you found your way here. Very Happy Thanks for taking the time to say hello and please do visit us often. A new voice on the blog comments and such would be great!

- Dave

Laughing Hello….just thought I would share how I arrived here…..

Mom was up early with dry heaves! I was worried because there was no obvious reason for them and they left as quick as they came! Well I ran a search on google.com….4th page, no results giving the info I was seeking, there you were!!!

Well, now you tell me why they have you under “dry heaves”!

The good thing is I have enjoyed looking around and surprisingly plan to return! (go figure Question)

So, I was checking out your quoteboard, and noticed somethingi………I’m not on it. So, it got me to thinking………am I just not that interesting? Who do I have to sleep with to be quoted? Or, does Dave just have something against cute blondes with big boobs? I didn’t come up with an answer, but it’s depressed me enough that I may have to start drinking. Oh, who am I kidding? I’d drink if I was happy, too.

Laughing

David Responds:

“Who do I have to sleep with to be quoted?”

Well I’d be a safe bet, but interestingly enough the question itself is enough …

I have a FABULOUS idea! (ok, keep in mind, I have been drinking……A LOT!) We need a DavidMeade.com chat room. Like, all David…all the time. All we would talk about is David, how cool David is, how handsome David is (told you I’d been drinking…..LMAO….) just all David. Doesn’t that sound like fun? (Ask me again when I’m sober, just to make sure) HUGS AND KISSES!

The site is excellent!

I have a site too!

Hmmm, as flattering as the offer is to be bumped up top I’m still a little hurt you don’t know who this is. I believe the saying that is appropriate for this scenerio is “Out of sight out of mind”. Are you sure you don’t know who this is???

David Responds: Sweetums, baby, your persistence is admirable but I have to warn you … you have almost no chance. I’m hopelessly in love with a chick who is both way hotter than you and also knows Judo. Seriously I wouldn’t mess around with her.. she is a soccer captain and has a badge…one tough hottie. Dear David,

I just went to your brother’s website and I have to say your website is a pain in the ass, although it looks awesome, getting around is difficult. (perhaps some more flash ?!)

I also wanted to tell you that you need to get your ass down here, b/c as it stands now I think (how do I put this) Sterling misses me more than you and I live next door. When I come in the door she mauls me and when I leave she cries for 5 minutes. Jealous, yet? (Sterling doesn’t mention you much but I wonder if she even remembers you)

I am concerned by the fact that Dave’s site has a guestbook thread concerning all the points that make his site better than mine. Meanwhile my guestbook has Santa describing my bloody and slow death.

I’d like to shift the focus now if I could… lets all make fun of this site instead.

(the guy actually audio taped himself talking in his sleep… surely that’s more worthy of this guestbook war.)

Please and Thank you!

Doug Meade

NOTE from David Meade: The “this site” mentioned above is not (as I at first thought) davidmeade.com (click the link to see what site it is) - therefore horrible retribution has been cancelled.

I gotta go with your brother on this one. The dave cam shouldn’t say currently offline, it should say permanently offline. We want to see you dave. Mufasa been taking the goofballs again.

Who is this mufasa character? He must be put to death immediately!

Anyway DaveCam has been down since the oceans cooled how could it possibly be better than mine?!?!

And I offer more cams!!! I mean COME ON!!

ok,ok … even if the DaveCam … or as I like to call it the “never changing offline picture” is better how can that mean that my entire site is inferior?? Let’s review…

  1. My cam actually shows something
  2. My site has more cams
  3. Even if DaveCam is better it’s on my site as well

mufasa… you suck.

This has been going around so much in my head that I am thinking about sawing my legs off to see if that will help. In any event, I figured that I would share the pain on to you and hope that the Star trek quote would pass on. Besides that, I have very little to share right now as I am working and am …………..AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! SULU IS EATING MY BRAIN!!!!!! That’s better! Drop me a line and I’ll share with you my idea for the worst movie ever made. It’s a buddy cop movie with Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme teaming up to fight the Barbarian Brothers.
