I’m going to pixelodeon 2007! (you should too!)

Pixelodeon is an annual independent video festival recognizing innovation, inspiration, and community in global online video. In this its inaugural year it will feature over 300 videos in themed screening sessions, four keynote speakers, two dozen curators, and of course several hundred people interested in independent media getting together to celebrate the diversity and talent of online video content.

I’m looking forward to finally meeting some more of the people I’ve been interacting with through videoblogging for several years now.

I’m also looking forward to getting a chance to work face to face with some folks on a certain project that I hope to get more involved with. More on that later.

If you can, I encourage you to attend. If you can’t rest assured that there will be lots of videoblogging going on at Pxelodeon and you can follow the event at MeFeedia! (Those of us there will be tagging our videos “pixelodeon2007″)

I’m in Germany this week. I’m here on business, but had a few hours this evening to go out and about.
