Gina Wins!!

I’ve taken down the quoteboard for several reasons. A redesigned version may or may not ever make it back on my “things to do” list (but don’t count on it). In the meantime we can all congratulate Gina for winning the DavidMeade.com Most Quotable Person Award!

Gina had the highest score and held that honor for more time than any other quoted person.! Congrats Gina!

CHICAGO, Illinois (TriadPress) –

Sources close to The Triad have said that David Meade will not be the only member of The Three to attend the May 20th Videoblogging events at Chicago’s Michigan Avenue Apple Store this weekend. At least one other member of The Triad is expected to make an appearance. It’s unclear if the gathering of Triad members is part of a bigger agenda, but sources have suggested that all three were recently in Chicago holding a summit (TriadPress is still investigating this rumor).

None of The Three were immediately available for comment but according the source (who requested anonymity) the Chicago event would be graced with the presence of Indianapolis videoblogger Doug Meade (DougMeade.com).

Doug Meade, who like his brother in Chicago, began videoblogging in early April of 2005, has been relatively quiet in the debates within the vlogsphere but kept on posting video none the less. “It’s what my public wants.” He explained at a Triad press event late last year. “I don’t do this for me. I do it for them. I do it for you.”

While some say Doug’s dog Sterling is their favorite part of his videos it’s hard to put a general description on his work which has ranged from holiday videos, state fairs, train rides, convention coverage, exploding eggs, and even the mental exhaustion caused by his participation in NaNoWriMo last year.

Refusing to confirm or deny the rumor, DavidMeade.com’s Office of Public Affairs would only say “There are no borders within The Triad. Any of The Three may extend its influence anywhere it pleases at any moment. There is no escape … I mean borders … there are no borders within The Triad.”
