My computer at home has died. I’m in the process of trying to fix it, but it’s one of those problems that’s likely to take 3 weeks, and just as many express deliveries to fix.
Long story short there are issues with the hard drive … and a new hard drive doesn’t fix the problem. It’s got something to do with a RAID controller and the SATA interfaces on my motherboard … needless to say I should learn alot from fixing this.
I say that I SHOULD learn alot because I know in actuality I probably wont. I’ll try 573 different solutions, forget what I tried when, and on th 574 mindless jumbling of a dozen different solutions I’ll mysteriously get it to boot up again (probably after 2 weeks of swapping hard drives, changing cables, flashing bios’, cursing, and crying).
Anyhow … I’ve been exceptionally busy at work lately … and have no reliable method to blog at home, so please excuse the delay in blogs.
In other news Jack I just saw your guestbook entry. Thanks again for the classic find! ![]()
