Man this dial-up thing REALLY sucks! I’m not sure how I ever managed without broadband.

Seriously I think the definition of “third world country” should be changed to “any state where broadband is not available.”

Luckily I had completed quite a bit of the serious work on davidmeade.com before the DSL modem went out. At least now I can update blogs/news/quotes/etc easily… but I cant really work on the new features I wanted to add…nor can I add any cool bells and whistles to existing features. And… I have to actually dial in when I want to be online…shudder - I WANT TO BE ONLINE ALL THE TIME!

Sigh… the RMA on the DSL modem should have taken by now…just a few more days…just a few more days.

On a happier note: I’ll be meeting the ol’ gang tomorrow. It hasn’t really been all that long I guess but it seems like it has been.

I think I like this blog idea so far. I’m sure you do too…admit it!
