Las Vegas photos are online!

The moment many of you have been waiting for has arrived. My photos from the recent trip to Las Vegas are online. AND, the scrapbook has been upgraded to allow you enter your own comments on each photo for everyone else to read!! Check them out in the Scrapbook!

(Gotta give credit where credit is due: Although I created the application in a different language, Pat Spizzo inspired this newest feature (user comments) to the Scrapbook. (Actually, this does much more than just add comments to a page, it writes to a database or two, sends an email, reframes the site, etc etc…I’m quite proud of it…but I know I know… all you really care about are the comments. ) Anyway, be sure to visit Pat’s site and check out his photos too!)

davidmeade.com is undergoing an EXTREME upgrade! Most sections/features of davidmeade.com are being rolled over to mySQL/PHP applications! This will give davidmeade.com greater interactivity and flexibility.

As I complete various applications and integrate them into the site more and more interactive features will be made available to you… so check back often!

Automated What’s New list!

The “What’s New” list (seen to the left) is now automated! When you add a listing to the guestbook, or submit a quote which is accepted, or just add a comment to a Scrapbook page, the What’s New list will automatically be updated! Now, more than ever, you can rely on the “What’s New” section to tell you the truth!

New News!

This news section is now database driven and completely dynamic. This will allow me to update the main page of davidmeade.com with valuable, timely information much more easily. I even built in “expire” and “sticky” modes to each News story to ensure you get the most up to date information. Now, more than ever, you can rely on the “News” section to tell you the truth!

A great deal is changing on davidmeade.com right now. Check back often as more and more new features will be added in the near future. And, all of those davidmeade.com features you already know and love will soon be updated with more dynamic/interactive versions of themselves!

I’m off to Las Vegas for Gina’s wedding! (And of course to see STAR TREK: The Experience!)

I went out and got a new CF card just for the trip, and I expect photos from the trip to be up late next week.
