I am so bummed that I didn’t get to go this year! This is usually a tradition for us. They also have one of these fests in May….so maybe we could all try to go next year. Don’t forget to invite Doug and Janna.
P.S. I hope your first day at work is a good one!
P.S.S. Thanks for my #20….it made my morning (it actually made me sad and happy at the same time)…..sad that you are gone, but happy because I remembered how much fun we all had that evening.
Hi im from Germany and i like that you have german fests in America i have to say somethink to the dress ! The dressed man you can see how is dancing with his woman or the Band are dressed like some guys in south Germany! And they’re yust dressed like this, if there are some spcial Partys e.g. The “Oktoberfest” in Munich. I’m from North Germany (Bremen near Hamburg) and I like your Vblogs!
Hi Andy! Welcome to DavidMeade.com and thanks for taking the time to comment!
The German Fest in this vlog was in Chicago. Specifically it was in an uptown neighborhood called Lincoln Square.
I loved Germany when I was there and hope to visit again one day. We Americans are very fond of “Oktoberfest” and you can find German-themed parties all over during that part of the year. Chicago has a very large Oktoberfest party as a matter of fact. (The party in this vlog is not ‘Oktoberfest’ … it’s just a “German-American Festival” )
I’ve never been to Houston, but I hear it’s quite nice.
Thanks again for the comment, and stop by DavidMeade.com anytime.

I’m glad to see that you and your friends made it through the beer head unscathed.
